Returns & Refunds
Returns and refunds will be made at the sole discretion Gawler Fishing and Outdoors for change of mind. Refunds only available within the first 30 days of purchase.
If a customer wishes to exchange an item due to a change of mind, they are required to:
• Cover full shipping/freight charges to and Gawler Fishing and Outdoors
• Notify Gawler Fishing and Outdoors with the intention of exchange before sending back the item they wish to exchange.
Products being returned or exchanged MUST be in brand new, original condition without blemishes, stains, damage etc., and returned with tags attached in original packaging.
For SA based customers you may come in store for an exchange; provided you have the original invoice, a form of personal ID, and the item is in the same condition as at the time of delivery.
Damaged items must be reported within 24 hours of receiving delivery. Items not reported for damage within 24 hours will be classes as received in original condition at time of delivery, voiding any liability for Gawler Fishing and Outdoors. Depending on the item and location, we will determine the process of returning the damaged goods.
Any damage to items via return freight is the liability of the sender. If product(s) are damaged in the return transit process we reserve the right to deny a return or exchange.
Deliveries are made only to address given. Receiving of goods is to be the responsibility of the purchaser.
Please note that for all refunds provided for a change of mind there may be a restocking fee for purchases made with either PayPal or Afterpay to cover the retailer's expense.
The restocking fees are outlined as follows:
• PayPal: 3.5%
Alternatively, store credit may be provided at our discretion.

Warranty
For goods that are broken or damaged when used in complete compliance with the manufacturer’s instructions, please present instore or contact us via email (gfostore@outloo.com) with the following information:
• Photos of the damage/break
• An explanation of how it happened
• Copy of invoice
• Any other evidence to back up your case.
Based on the evidence, if ourselves or the manufacturer deem or suspect the product to be faulty, you may be required to send the item back to us or to the manufacturer, along with the receipt/invoice. (You may contact us if you lost the original) You will be notified regarding whether you receive a replacement or reimbursement, or if the item is not covered. We are not liable to cover any freight costs associated with warranty related issues; therefore, it is the customer’s responsibility to pay for all associated freight costs.
All goods sold by Gawler Fishing and Outdoors come with a warranty to be free from any defects or faults. This warranty is not transferable to future owners.
Goods under warranty cover will be replaced or repaired by the manufacturer. No refund can be provided under any circumstances.
Warranty only covers the item(s) sold by Gawler Fishing and Outdoors
A large percentage of returned goods are found to be not faulty. If the returned goods are determined by Gawler Fishing and Outdoors to not be faulty, then all returning shipping fees will be worn by the customer. Gawler Fishing and Outdoors also reserves the right to charge the labour cost for examining these goods where no fault was found.
All warrantees are voided if returned product is found in any way to be mishandled, incorrectly installed, modified, tampered, abused, or physically damaged.
The customer is responsible for any shipping and insurance cost involved in sending the warranty claim goods back to Gawler Fishing and Outdoors.
Gawler Fishing and Outdoors is not responsible for any parcel missing in transit on its return to Gawler Fishing and Outdoors.
Returns Exemptions:
Firearms
GFO Stocks a large range of Centrefire Rifles in many makes and models. It is not possible to hold in stock all calibres in all models - but we endeavour to have on hand our popular sellers.
If you have a requirement for something particular - please ask us. We are happy to assist.
A valid Firearms Licence is required to purchase a firearm in Australia.
Subject to approval from SAPOL Firearms Branch.
If the firearm is purchased from our online store, a permit to acquire PD306 must be completed or a transfer to another dealer could apply.
Details can be emailed or completed instore.
The Firearm once approved by SAPOL can be collected in store.
Freight will apply for dealer stock transfers Dealer to Dealer. Firearms cannot be freighted direct to end users.
Firearms can only be freighted to verified Firearm Dealers SA or interstate and quoted on request.
A 20% restocking fee applies to cancelled or illegitimate firearm purchases. If in doubt, please contact us before proceeding to cart.
