The RCBS Summit Press is a unique single-stage reloading press that features an innovative "die-down-to-the-case" design, allowing for full frontal access and flexible bench mounting. It is constructed from a robust cast iron frame and massive 2-inch steel ram for durability and precision. 
Key Features & Design
Unique Operation: Unlike most presses where the case is raised to the die, the Summit keeps the case stationary while the die is lowered down to it. This provides an open C-frame design with a 4.5" opening and unobstructed access to the shell holder area.
Durable Construction: The press is built with a heavy-duty cast iron frame and steel linkage, ensuring stability and long-term durability. It also features a massive 2-inch diameter solid steel ram polished for smooth operation and an integrated zerk fitting for easy lubrication.
Versatile Mounting: The lack of linkage below the press allows it to be mounted anywhere on top of your bench, rather than requiring an overhang at the edge.
Ambidextrous Design: The press is designed for both right- and left-handed users.
Die Compatibility: It accepts standard 7/8"-14 threaded dies and can use 1-1/4"-12 dies when the thread adapter is removed.
Priming: The Summit press does not have an on-press priming feature; cases must be primed with a separate, dedicated priming tool.
